Jeffrey Levine, MD, AGSF, began his career as an academic geriatrician and switched over to wound care, and has been writing and lecturing about pressure ulcers for the past three decades. He is currently wound consultant for New Jewish Home, a 520 bed academically affiliated long-term care facility in Manhattan. He is an alumnus of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) and published dozens of articles and chapters on this topic including the Pressure Injury section of the Geriatric Review Syllabus (GRS 9 and 10). As an active AMDA member Dr. Levine assisted with the Clinical Practice Guideline for Pressure Ulcers and has provided many educational sessions on wound care for AMDA PALTC over the years.
