On July 18, 2019, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published a Proposed Rule in the Federal Register that would significantly revise the regulation regarding Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI). CMS will not issue a Final Rule until sometime after the public comment period closes, which is September 16, 2019. This session explores the proposed changes to the regulation that will occur towards the end of 2019.
