Description
As medical cannabis use becomes more popular and prevalent in the US population, it is important to address the specific logistical considerations when attempting to integrate medical cannabis into the care plans for patients in long-term care. Because of the regulatory environment in long-term care and the patient population, recommendations concerning medical cannabis must be tailored to meet the needs of this environment. This webinar will address the state of science concerning medical cannabis that is specific to the long-term care population. The program will also address legal and regulatory issues that will need to be traversed before integrating medical cannabis into care plans safely.
