Description

Nursing homes are inherently difficult locations to perform research, but are uniquely suited for conducting pragmatic research. Targeting all providers working in the nursing home setting, this one-day symposium will showcase international pragmatic trials and identify common themes. Each trial will be presented and followed by a discussion of specific strategies to address pragmatism. This program also will include a poster session to offer practical, scientifically sound information from around the globe to symposium participants, so you can apply exciting new ideas immediately to your practice. Participants can earn up to 6.5 CME, CMD, and MOC credits.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify unique considerations in the conduct of pragmatic trials in nursing homes.
  • Describe outcomes of recent pragmatic trials in nursing homes.
