Hear from AMDA’s workgroup on Telemedicine on “Standards for Medically Necessary Provider Visits Using Telemedicine in the Nursing Home.” This session will feature an interactive panel that will provide an opportunity for attendees to engage PALTC telemedicine leaders in a dialogue on best practices. From implementation to quality assurance and best practices, you will hear from and interact with a panel of leaders in the telemedicine field about the challenges faced and lessons learned. Bring your questions!

Learning Objectives: 

  • Discuss the newest trends and developments in PALTC telemedicine.
  • Implement recommendations for best practices using the tools of telemedicine in PALTC.
  • Discuss a quality measurement framework for evaluation of medically necessary telemedicine visits in nursing facilities.
  • Discuss relevant implications for policy and research in telemedicine.
