Credits: None available.

Description

Medical directors and PALTC providers are critical to the success of a facility’s quality and patient safety initiatives, but few have training in the design implementation and evaluation of quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) projects. Ready, set, go, in this session as participants work together in mentored small groups on real-world QAPI experiences. Bring your own topic, or the session leaders will be prepared with their favorites.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define a local problem for improving quality in your work setting.
  • Write an effective aim statement for the identified problem.
  • Evaluate current processes in your clinical setting and identify measures.
  • Illustrate a model for improvement of your defined problem.
