Senior Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) officials will present a webinar on January 15th detailing requirements of the 2019 Quality Payment Program (QPP) which was finalized in the Physician Fee Schedule final rule. Free for Society members, the webinar will detail reporting requirements for the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) as well as the Alternative Payment Model (APM) option.
Description: The CMS rule finalized a number of changes to the QPP, including the minimum reporting required to avoid penalties and MIPS eligibility status for group practices. In addition, CMS continues to implement the facility-based MIPS option and seeks to gather more information as the agency prepares for implementation for post-acute and long-term care setting for post-acute and long-term care-based clinicians.
CMS has specifically tailored this webinar for Society members and attendees will have a chance to ask questions and offer their thoughts on these updated regulations. Don’t miss this chance to hear directly from CMS officials and get your questions answered.
