Through brief presentations and case-based discussions, this session, will provide updates on managing common infections (pneumonia, urinary tract infections [UTIs], skin and soft tissue infections [SSTI], and Clostridium difficile infection [CDI] ) in PALTC facilities. In addition, strategies for prevention and early recognition of these infections will be discussed. The goal of this session is to prepare clinical practitioners for evidence-based management of common infections in PALTC facilities.
