Session Description: Doug Leahy, MD will discuss the current trends in physician payment reform. As a long-time American College of Physician’s RUC representative as well as Chair of ACP’s Subspecialty Advisory Group on Socioeconomic Affairs, Dr. Leahy, will address what physicians need to know to be prepared for emerging alternative payment models such as bundling, accountable care organizations and the recent CMS decision to pay for chronic care management and transitional care management services.
