Session Description: During this session, Office of Inspector General staff and members of the study’s physician review panel will describe the recent effort to determine the incidence rate of adverse events in skilled nursing facilities (SNF). The session will describe the rate at which beneficiaries’ experienced adverse events, the nature of the events, and a method for routine detection of adverse events in SNF.
