This webinar will address the methods for updating the AGS Beers Criteria and the understanding of and evidence for medications considered potentially inappropriate for older adults across all care settings.

This will include both lecture and case studies, PowerPoint and a question and answer session. We will discuss a brief history and methods for updating the 2012 AGS Beers Criteria, the key changes in the 2012 criteria, the medications included in the criteria, clinical challenges in implementing the criteria and future directions

  • Describe a brief history of and the updated methods and procedures used to revise the AGS 2012 Beers Criteria
  • Identify and discuss medications considered potentially inappropriate in the updated 2012 Beers Criteria
