Session Description: This session will focus on the collaborative and interdisciplinary nature of improving the quality of care and life for long term care residents. It will feature presentations by the 2011 AMDA Foundation/Pfizer Quality Improvement (QI) award winners and the 2012 QI & Health Outcome award winners which will form the basis for discussion by a panel of experienced researchers. The panel discussion will serve to highlight the relationship between individual QI initiatives and larger research projects and trends that strengthen the quality of life across the long term care continuum.
