Session Description: Subacute care has been a dramatically increasing portion of the responsibilities of many medical directors. Physicians must balance the fiscal demands of administration with the genuine needs of residents to guarantee that potential residents are appropriate for potential transfers. This session will review the criteria for the evaluation of potential transfers using a case based and interactive format. Risks and benefits of approving potential transfers will be discussed.
