Session Description:
This panel of 2010 finalists for the Medical Director of the Year award will discuss the different ways that they have found success within their own facilities to help bring about positive results. Panelists will call on their own experiences in helping to improve patient care, impacting quality indicator profiles, educating facility staff, educating attending physicians, assisting in the survey process, and so on. The panel will offer a candid discussion of what works and what doesn't. Overcoming common obstacles that get in the way of successful medical direction will be addressed.
