Session Description:
This session reviews the diverse responsibilities that require a medical director to be an efficient and competent investigator. It discusses the challenges and pitfalls of conducting investigations and trying to define and address problems. It offers attendees many tips and tactics,based on real-life experience, about conducting investigations and using the results to fulfill medical director responsibilities.

  • Discuss medical director roles and situations in the long termfacility requiring skills as a competent investigator
  • Identify tactics for conducting efficient, effective investigationsin diverse areas
  • Review steps to using information and conclusions drawn from that information to meet medical director responsibilities
