AMDA Public Policy Chair Karyn Leible, MD, CMD, will presen tthe top AMDA policy issues including updates on medical liability, work force initiatives, hospice, legislative advocacy, health care reform, and updates to the State Operations Manual. James E. Lett, II, MD, CMD,will discuss AMDA’s advocacy on transitions of care issues within the AMA’s Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, a Centers for Medicare &Medicaid Services Technical Expert Panel, and the National Transitions of Care Coalition.
