Anemia is common in the elderly and largely under-recognized and inadequately managed. This presentation will offer information regarding the etiology of anemia and a simple approach to evaluation and management. Illustrations presented through cases will create a better understanding for the audience.

  • Understand the etiology of anemia in the older population and the ability to perform the basic evaluation of anemia.
